1. Social media I : Use Google+, LinkedIn and Facebook
In addition to using paid social media advertising, you should also use free social media tools to drive people to your blog posts. The first way to do this is by setting up your business profiles on the three major social media platforms:
Google+ – which is important because posting on Google+ increases your search ranking in Google itself. To set up your profile, go to: www.google.com/+/business. Enhance your profile by adding an engaging story, introduction and photos. You then create circles which are groups of people you can post material to.
LinkedIn – where you should be creating a personal profile and a business profile. You can also add a personalized company page and more at www.linkedin.com/company/add/show. You can and should also join LinkedIn Groups where your prospects hang out.
Facebook – you need to create a fan page on Facebook rather than a personal page. To do this, go to www.facebook.com and click on “Create a page for a celebrity, band or business.” Facebook's fan pages are simple in design and you'll be able to figure out what to do intuitively. You can give away your FREE gift to everyone who likes your page and do lots of other different things to increase popularity.
